To replace the door lock in a Renault Trafic, first loosen the screws that secure the door panel so that you can completely remove it. After removing the panel, locate the screws that secure the lock actuator from the inside. Remove the actuator from its housing by unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting the appropriate cables from the mechanism.

This will allow you to remove the actuator, replace it with a new part, and reassemble all previously removed components.
