Replacing the rear shock absorber is generally easier than the front one as the spring and damper are separate; then lift the car and remove the plastic cover applied to the suspension to access the shock absorber fixing nut; lower the car by applying a support jack under the suspension and access the luggage compartment, remove the support surface and the underlying cover to remove the fixing pin of the shock absorber located on the side; then move on to the lower nut, remove the old shock absorber and insert the new one, proceeding backwards for installation.
