In this video, we show how to address the issue if the handbrake light on the Renault Trafic does not illuminate: the first step is to lift the cover that covers the handbrake lever, which can be opened with one hand as it is only attached with clips.

Once the cover is lifted, you will see the electrical connector at the back, which controls the handbrake light and has become loose in our case.

If you secure it back in place (if the connection is not secure enough, you can wrap it with insulating tape), you will see that the light illuminates normally. Replace the handbrake cover.

The job is complete.
