Replacing the Battery on a Renault Clio

Let's see how to replace the battery on a Renault Clio. Open the bonnet and you will find the battery compartment on your right. Remove the two-part plastic cover, unscrew the negative terminal clamp, and unscrew the two screws of the positive terminal cable. Remove the vent tube and unscrew the retaining bracket at the base of the battery. Extract the old battery using its handle, remove the adapter from the positive terminal, insert the new battery, reattach the retaining bracket and the adapter on the positive terminal, insert the vent tube, secure the cable on the positive terminal with its screws, and reattach the negative terminal clamp. Close the two parts of the cover.
