Replacing the air filter that feeds the injection system of the Renault Megane is an important operation that allows the engine to breathe better and control fuel consumption. To change it, we open the hood of the engine compartment, unscrew the screw that locks the intake pipe to the manifold, remove the manifold, disconnect the vent tube, unscrew the two bolts that secure the filter box cover. We remove the cover, remove the old filter element, clean the seat, and install the new filter. We put the cover back in place and secure it with its screws. We insert the vent tube, put the manifold back in place, insert the intake pipe, and secure it with the screws.

Lift the bonnet; remove the soundproofing panel from the engine and locate the diesel filter (as shown in the video). Using a socket wrench, unscrew the bolts (a spanner can also be used) near the container where the diesel filter is located. Once the filter is removed, disconnect the circulation hoses and take it out of the vehicle (replace it with a new filter).
