Changing Car Spark Plugs

This guide shows how to correctly change car spark plugs. First, disconnect the connectors from the caps on top of the spark plugs, and only then disconnect the caps. Do not use tools like screwdrivers to avoid causing further damage. Finally, to remove the spark plugs, use the appropriate socket. When installing the new spark plug, it is ideal to use a torque wrench to tighten it to the torque specified in the maintenance manual, to avoid overtightening and damaging the threaded housing. Finally, refit the caps and connectors.
It is always advisable to perform the replacement operation with the engine off, both to avoid physical injury and to prevent difficulty in removing the spark plug in the future.
