How to disassemble the rearview mirror of most Renault cars

In this video we see how to disassemble the shell of the external rearview mirror of most recent Renault vehicles. Using a plastic spatula, we pry behind the mirror to remove it from its housing: if necessary, we can use a small screwdriver. We remove the electrical connector, and then, always with our spatula, we pry to remove the shell: we will have to separate the pins from the housing that attaches to the mirror, which are located one on the top and one on the side. They are very fragile tabs that can easily break. To put the shell back in place, we start by positioning the lower pin and then we support the sides, interlocking them. Now we put back the mirror, starting by inserting the electrical connector and then inserting the glass by pressing in the center.
