In this video, we can see a very quick method of removing the interior rearview mirror from a Renault car: using a hard plastic tool, holding the mirror, we hit the support from below several times until the mirror's attachment comes out of its base. Of course, we should not do this operation roughly, to avoid breaking the shaped hooks inside the support - as shown by the youtuber. To put the mirror back in place, just perform the reverse operation, hitting the same tool from above to secure it properly.
