How to Replace the Front Headlamp Bulb on a Renault Clio?

To replace the front headlamp bulb on a Renault Clio, start by opening the bonnet and locating the rear of the headlamp. You will find a plastic cover protecting the bulb; remove it by turning it anti-clockwise or by unfastening the retaining clips.

Once the cover is removed, you will see the base of the bulb. Disconnect the electrical connector by gently pulling it, then remove the bulb from the holder.

Some models require you to turn the bulb anti-clockwise to remove it, while others may have a retaining clip that needs to be lifted. Take the new bulb, being careful not to touch the glass with your fingers, and insert it into the holder, ensuring it is securely fitted.

Reconnect the electrical connector and replace the plastic cover. Finally, check that the new bulb works by turning on the headlights.

If the bulb does not light up, check that it is properly inserted and that the connector is securely attached.
