How to Replace the Front Headlight Bulb

Model: Saab 9 3 MK 2 - Years 2002-2014
Part: Headlight bulb

Need to replace the front headlight bulb? This guide indicates how to do it, knowing the type of fitting. Open the bonnet and you will see the two upper supports of the headlight that you can easily unscrew. To unscrew the screws of the lower supports, you will need to remove the front bumper, which can be done by loading the car onto a lift, raising it, and unscrewing the screws visible from inside the wheel arch and continuing under the bumper to the other wheel arch. Once you have carefully detached the bumper, you will see the two screws to remove under the headlight. However, you must first disconnect all the electrical parts that connect to the bumper to power the lights mounted on it. Once done, you will be able to slide out the headlight, determine which bulb needs replacing, remove it from the holder, and insert the new one. Reinsert the headlight into its housing and proceed in reverse order to reassemble all the parts.
