First, ensure the vehicle is off, then open the hood and, using a 10mm socket wrench, remove the two bolts securing the upper bracket. Once removed, loosen the negative terminal nut with the same 10mm wrench, disconnect it, and repeat the process with the positive terminal. At this point, grasp the battery, pull it out of the housing, and install the replacement by following the reverse procedure. In this case, however, reconnect the positive terminal first.
