How to Reset the Service Light on a Seat Arosa

Model: Seat Arosa MK 1 - Years 1997-2004
Part: Service warning light

If the service warning light illuminates on the instrument cluster when you turn on the ignition, it means it's time for maintenance, either due to mileage or time elapsed. After performing the regular maintenance with an oil change and replacing the filter, reset the light manually without the aid of diagnostic tools:
- Switch off the ignition;
- Press and hold the trip reset button;
- Turn on the ignition while continuing to hold the button until three dashes appear instead of the service message;
- Release the button and switch off the ignition.
