Model: Volkswagen Golf
Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4
- Years 1997-2003 How do we remove the instrument cluster of a Volkswagen Golf 4? Let's see how to proceed with the removal. We detach the plastic frame covering the steering wheel (upper part) and remove it away from the dashboard, then we remove the covering under the instrument panel; unscrew the clamping screws of the instrument panel with a screwdriver. After removing the screws we remove the piece from the dashboard and disconnect the power cable. We mount a new piece or (we replace the leds / bulbs from the panel) we reassemble the same. Finally we proceed backwards the operations carried out for the assembly.
