How to Replace the Remote Control Battery for a Seat Leon

Model: Seat Leon MK 3, 5F - Years 2012-2019
Part: Key

If pressing the buttons on the remote control does not activate the door locks, it is likely that the remote battery has run out. The required battery is a CR 2025, 3 V, which is easy to find. The replacement is also simple, as there is a sort of cap on the back of the remote shell under which the battery is located. At this point, open the metal key and lever in the appropriate grooves to detach and open the cap, remove the old battery, and insert the new one, ensuring the polarity is correct.
