What to do if the trunk lock of the Seat Leon needs to be replaced? We can see it in this video. Unfortunately, this is a rather common problem in these cars and the replacement is not exactly cheap, even if bought on Amazon, where we can find it with the code B071L99W3N at the price of 119.92 euros with free delivery. We will need a star screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the plastic cover on the rear hood, in order to access the mechanism. Using a flathead screwdriver, we remove the electrical connector, then with a size 8 xzn profile key (which can also be easily found on Amazon and costs about 22 euros), we will proceed to disassemble the lock, held only by these two special bolts. We proceed to replace the lock by following the reverse order.
