In this video we can see how to properly install a timing belt on a Skoda car; in truth, the operation is done here very easily, as the engine has been removed from the car compartment and placed comfortably on a stand, so that it can be worked on easily. After changing the water pump, the timing points are found, helped by special tools made for this purpose. When all the points are correctly aligned and securely fixed, then the belt is installed, paying attention to the direction of assembly, and the way it should be positioned on the various pulleys is illustrated, after which we can tighten the tensioner pulley correctly and then all the nuts. We remove the timing locks and the work is completed. Now all that remains is to put the engine back in its compartment!
