Procedure for Removing the Car Radio

These images provide some tips that may be useful if you want to remove the radio from a Skoda, Volkswagen, or Seat; these tips apply to models such as Octavia, Fabia, Passat, Golf, and Bora. Obtain a plastic spatula and first remove the radio's trim. With the same spatula, also remove the covers of the securing screws located at the four corners of the radio. Now unscrew the four screws. You can now extract the radio unit. Disconnect the power cables. You will now have the opportunity to install a satellite navigator or a new car radio. As a final step, remember to reassemble the trim!
