How to Reset the Service Light on a Skoda Rapid (also Octavia, Yeti, Fabia)

Let’s see how to reset the service light on a Skoda Rapid (also applicable to Fabia, Yeti, and Octavia). Turn off the engine and remove the key from the ignition. Then, press and hold the button on the dashboard that resets the trip meter, usually indicated by "0.0" or "trip". Without releasing the button, insert the key and turn on the ignition. Continue holding the button until you see the message "reset service? Press "ok" to confirm". Release the trip meter button and briefly press the same button, which now acts as "ok". The display will change to "service reset". If the message "inspection" still appears, it means there is a second counter for a more thorough check. To reset it, repeat the same procedure, then remove the key, turn on the hazard lights, hold the "0.0" button again, and without releasing it, insert the key, turn on the ignition, and the display will show "reset inspection?" Release the button and then press it briefly. The display will show "inspection reset". Turn off the hazard lights and switch off the ignition.
