To replace the battery on the second-generation Skoda Octavia, open the bonnet and locate the battery in the engine bay. Remove the plastic cover if present to access the terminals. First, loosen the negative terminal and disconnect it, then do the same with the positive terminal.

Unscrew the securing bracket that holds the battery in place. Once free, lift the battery out carefully.

Position the new battery in the same housing and secure it with the bracket. Connect the positive terminal first and then the negative, ensuring the terminals are tightly secured.

Replace the cover, close the bonnet, and start the vehicle to check for proper operation.
