In this tutorial, see how to replace the glow plugs in the Skoda Octavia. First, open the bonnet and remove the plastic cover, then locate the 4 connectors and disconnect them, using long pliers if necessary. Next, proceed to unscrew the first glow plug with a 10mm socket, applying a steady, moderate force. If they are stuck, apply some penetrating spray. Once the replacement glow plugs are inserted, tighten them slowly, preferably using a torque wrench set to 10Nm.
