This guide will show you the procedure for removing and replacing the glow plugs in the engine of the Skoda Octavia 1.6 TDI and 2.0 TDI. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and begin by removing the engine cover. Next, detach the diesel injection rail and remove the glow plug caps, as shown in the video.

At this point, use a socket wrench with an extension to unscrew and remove the glow plugs, replacing them with new ones (having the same thread pitch); then reassemble everything.
