Replacing Glow Plugs on a Skoda Octavia 2 1.6 TDI

In this video, learn how to remove and replace the glow plugs in the engine of a second-generation Skoda Octavia, powered by a 1.6 TDI engine. Open and lift the bonnet and first remove the plastic engine cover; then, remove the upper caps of the glow plugs by simply pulling them upwards. Next, apply some penetrating oil to ease the operation and using a socket wrench with an extension, unscrew and remove the four glow plugs, as shown in the video. Finally, replace them with new ones, screwing them in by hand first and then tightening with the wrench!
