The steps to replace the key fob battery of a Skoda Octavia are very straightforward. Take the fob and first press the button located in the upper corner of the casing to release the metal key inside. Next, use the tip of a screwdriver, inserting it into the empty side groove left after the key is removed; lever the screwdriver tip to open the battery compartment on the back of the fob. Proceed to remove and replace the battery. The required battery model is a flat CR 2032 3V.
