On a Skoda Octavia, it may happen that the boot lid gets stuck, for example, due to a fault in the control button or the lock actuator. In any case, you can perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this video.

First, open the rear doors, then fully lower the rear seat backrest by operating the respective lever. Next, go to the boot, locate the small indicated cover, remove it, and manually unlock the lock.

At this point, you can open the boot lid and repair the faulty component.
