Service reset on a Skoda Fabia

Model: Skoda Fabia 6Y, Mark1 - Years 1999-2007

To reset the service light on a Skoda Fabia, first generation model produced from 1999 to 2007, we need to first press and hold the "TRIP" button on the speedometer, then turn on the car's instrument panel without starting the engine. Once this is done, the message "service OIL" will appear on the information display, at this point release the button and turn it to the right to reset the message. Finally, press the button again, the message "service INSP" will appear, then turn the "TRIP" button to the right again to reset this message and complete the reset.
