How do you remove the panoramic roof of the Smart car?

In order to remove the panoramic roof of the Smart, first you need to detach the headliner so that you can locate the fastening elements that are covered by it: to remove the headliner, you will need to loosen the two screws behind the interior rearview mirror and detach all the hooks at the pillars. Once the headliner has been detached, you can loosen the screws that secure the panoramic roof and slide it out of the appropriate sliding tracks: this way you can insert the new one and also assemble all the removed parts.
