How to install the glass of the external rearview mirror of the Smart 450

The glass of the rearview mirror of the Smart Fortwo 450 can be easily removed and installed. This operation can be carried out independently thanks to the vertical hooks located on the back of the glass itself. To position the glass, you simply have to insert it by pushing it inward. The disassembly follows a slightly different procedure, to remove the glass you will need to insert a plastic lever and push the glass outward, being careful not to damage the vertical clips. Once extracted, you can perform the maintenance you desire such as replacing the glass or other tasks.
