How to Remove the Lock Actuator of the Smart 450?

To remove the lock actuator of the Smart 450, remove the internal cover near the external mirror to loosen the underlying screws. This will allow you to remove the mirror; then, unscrew the screw on the inner panel located on the opposite side of the door: this will enable you to detach the external handle. Additionally, after removing the glass seal, you can detach the outer door panel to access the actuator. By unscrewing its retaining screws and disconnecting its connectors, you can remove it and replace it with a new spare part.
