In this video, we are shown a safe way to change the spark plugs of the Smart version 453, that is, the one produced between 2014 and 2022; if done carefully, it is a job that does not take more than fifteen minutes. The caps should be removed slowly, in order to avoid that sudden movements could cause the spark plug to fall into the duct.

It is advisable, to make the change, to use a magnetic key, so that the spark plug cannot fall inside. By comparing the used spark plug with the new one, we can see that the first one is not too loaded with residues, so evidently the fuel mixture is mixed in the right way.
