How to disassemble the rear bumper of the Smart Fortwo

Model: Smart Smart 453 - Years 2014-2022
Part: Rear bumper

Below we will see the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the rear bumper of the Smart Fortwo. First, we open the rear hatch of the trunk and start removing all the fastening screws we find next to the hinges of the hatch; then we unscrew the additional screws on both sides of the wheel arches, as shown in the video. At this point, we gently detach the bumper on the sides until it is completely removed, replacing it if necessary with the new one; we reassemble and properly fix the new bumper, applying the reverse procedure!
