How to replace the speaker of the Smart Fortwo model 451

Replacing the speaker boxes in your Smart model 451 vehicle is a fairly simple operation to follow on your own. To replace the speaker box, we need to remove the speaker cover using a plastic removal tool. After removing the cover, disconnect the connector and, using a needle-nose pliers, remove all the internal parts, including the membrane that make up the original box. After removing all the internal parts, even in a somewhat rudimentary way, clean the area to make sure there are no other components. Connect the connector and cables to the new box and insert it into its housing. Use a drill to screw the box in place with screws. Turn on the car radio to check the functionality of the new speakers.
