How to remove the central grille (black plastic) from the front bumper of a Smart Fortwo? Once the front bonnet of the car is opened and removed: using a socket wrench or screwdriver, unscrew the securing pins located above the grille (if present). Remove the grille located at the centre of the bonnet using a suitable metal lever or screwdriver. Once all parts are removed, proceed with reassembly: place the new front grille (screw or secure the clips). Close the refill compartment with the front bonnet. Check the correct installation of the parts.
