How to reset the service light on a Smart Fortwo? It's a very simple operation: enter the vehicle (sit in the driver's seat), turn on the instrument panel with the appropriate key (you will see the maintenance message); press the button above the instrument panel. Wait for the countdown and turn off the instrument panel with the appropriate key (enter the mileage for the next service if required). Immediately after, turn it back on to verify the maintenance has been completed (the warning light will no longer be illuminated). Always remember to make changes to the onboard computer with the engine off.
