How to Reset the Service Maintenance Light on a Smart Fortwo

Learn how to reset the service maintenance light on a Smart Fortwo. This operation is very simple: enter the vehicle, turn on the ignition (the maintenance light will be illuminated), and press the button above the instrument cluster twice within 4 seconds. Turn off the ignition and press the previously pressed button (start the vehicle). After these operations, turn the ignition back on to check the maintenance status (the light should no longer be illuminated). Always remember to make changes to the onboard computer while the vehicle is stationary and turned off.
