You can program the Smart remote by inserting the new blank key into the ignition switch and turning it to activate the instrument panel. Once the panel is on, connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port located under the steering column. At this point, follow the on-screen instructions to program the new key. After programming, disconnect the device to ensure the new key functions correctly.
