Engine oil replacement on Smart Fortwo

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007

We do the service on our car, like changing the engine oil with its filter on a Smart. We lift our car on a column bridge or on a jack and go to open the engine compartment located in the luggage compartment. Using a socket wrench with a suitable socket, unscrew the pin placed under the oil pan, so as to drain the oil into a container for future disposal. Let's screw the pin back into the oil pan. Unscrew the filter with a strap wrench, lubricate the new filter and screw it into its seat. At the end of assembly, we top up the engine and check the level.
