Removing the Radio on a Smart Fortwo

Remove the damaged radio from a Smart Fortwo. Take off the trim around the stereo using a plastic lever (where the air vents are located) and detach it from the centre console. Remove the button panel and unscrew the screw inside. Once the stereo is free from constraints, unscrew the securing screws located on either side with a screwdriver. Pull the stereo out with your hands and disconnect the cables (power and antenna). Install the new radio for the Smart Fortwo. Screw in the screws and reattach the button panel.
