How to Replace the Radio in a Smart ForTwo?

To replace the radio in a Smart ForTwo, use a lever-like object such as a screwdriver to detach the trim that covers the central part of the dashboard: once detached, you will be able to locate the screws underneath that secure the radio in its housing. These fixing screws must be loosened so that the device can be extracted: once the old radio is freed, disconnect its connectors at the back. These should be connected to the new radio, inserting and securing it in its place.
