Replacing the Rear Light on a Smart Fortwo

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007

To replace a damaged rear light on a Smart Fortwo, lift the boot lid and unscrew the securing screws located at the side of the light using a screwdriver. Disconnect the rear light from its housing after removing all the securing screws (disconnect the power connectors). Replace any damaged bulbs with new ones of the same size and voltage. Secure the new light with the screws after reconnecting the power connectors. Turn on the lights to check their operation (activate the controls to switch on the lights).
