Disassembly of the external handle and repair of the Smart Fortwo 451

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007
Part: Handle

In this video tutorial we will see how to remove the external door handle and how to repair it on a Smart Fortwo first series. First we open the front door and we go to remove the external handle, unscrewing the screws of the side lock that we find on the sides of the door; then we extract the handle from the outside, perhaps leveraging something thin, and disconnect its cable. At this point we are going to disassemble all the components of the handle and carry out the repair of the same, as shown in the video. Finally, reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure!

How to Remove the Front Headlamp on a Renault Megane

Let's see how to remove the front headlamp on a Renault Megane. Open the bonnet by pulling the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard and secure it. Unscrew the headlamp securing bolts with a screwdriver, along with the associated clips, and extract the headlamp from its housing. Once the headlamp is removed (located at the rear of the headlamp), take it out, and you will find the bulbs with metal clips. Pull out the bulb holder from the headlamp and extract the damaged bulb using a screwdriver. Install the new bulb (always ensure it is the correct type and size) and insert the bulb holder back into the headlamp housing.
