Air filter replacement on Smart Fortwo

Open the tailgate and access the engine compartment. As you can see in the video, the air filter is obviously located next to the engine, and its compartment is simply fixed by two screws. Unscrew the aforementioned screws and open the filter box cover. Once this is done, you can simply extract the air filter from the compartment and insert, in the correct direction (as the previous filter was positioned), the new engine air filter. Close the filter box by tightening the two fixing screws of the cover. As you can see, this is a very simple operation, which requires little time and little money, and within everyone's reach.
