Open the tailgate and access the engine compartment. As you can see in the video, the air filter is located next to the engine, and its cover is simply secured by two screws.

Unscrew these screws and open the filter box cover. Once done, simply remove the air filter from the compartment and insert the new engine air filter in the correct orientation (as the previous filter was positioned).

Close the filter box by screwing in the two securing screws for the cover. As you can see, this is a very simple operation that requires little time and money, and is within everyone's reach.

Replacing the Gear Knob on the Renault Espace

The following steps will show you how to remove and replace the gear knob of the manual gearbox on the Renault Espace. First, get in the vehicle and start by removing the small upper cover of the knob; to remove it, simply pull the gear knob upwards with force to detach it from the lever, as shown in the video. At this point, remove and replace the gear gaiter if necessary, installing the new one; finally, insert the new gear knob, securing it properly onto the lever (ensure there is no play between the lever and the knob).
