How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter on a Smart ForTwo

Before you start, enter the cabin of your Smart ForTwo. Begin by unclipping the clips that secure the cabin air filter cover, located near the driver's pedals. Next, unclip and remove the filter cover. This will give you access to the cabin air filter. Proceed to pull the filter out of its housing, and the disassembly will be complete. To fit the new filter, simply reverse this procedure, and you will have completed the replacement.
