You can replace the cabin filter located on the Smart by loosening the screws and removing the rivets that secure the side trim panel of the footwell on the driver's side. Once the panel is removed, loosen the screws that secure the cover of the filter box to free it completely. After removing the filter, insert the new replacement part. At this point, close the box with the panel to ensure everything functions correctly.
