How to replace the gear knob on a Smart ForTwo

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007
Part: Shift knob

Before we can begin, we will have to go and sit in the driver's seat of our Smart ForTwo. This procedure must necessarily be carried out with the engine off, the gearbox in neutral and the handbrake activated. Let's start then by going to grip the gear knob, and then pull it upwards. By doing so, we will have disengaged the gear knob. When we have completed this last step, we will have successfully completed the disassembly. To fit the new gear knob, we will simply have to follow these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be correctly completed.

How to Remove the Front Headlamp on a Renault Megane

Let's see how to remove the front headlamp on a Renault Megane. Open the bonnet by pulling the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard and secure it. Unscrew the headlamp securing bolts with a screwdriver, along with the associated clips, and extract the headlamp from its housing. Once the headlamp is removed (located at the rear of the headlamp), take it out, and you will find the bulbs with metal clips. Pull out the bulb holder from the headlamp and extract the damaged bulb using a screwdriver. Install the new bulb (always ensure it is the correct type and size) and insert the bulb holder back into the headlamp housing.
