Cleaning the Throttle Body on Smart 450

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007

Loosen the two clips on the intake hose, then slide it off and clean the inside with a cloth. To remove the throttle body, unscrew the four bolts securing it, then disconnect the connector by pressing on the two side tabs. Done! Oil will come out of the body. Spray some degreaser inside, let it sit for several minutes, and then clean it. Also, clean the area where the body was mounted and ensure nothing enters the space left by the throttle body.
