Turbine replacement on Smart Fortwo

Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015
Part: Turbocharger

Let's see how to disassemble the turbine of a Smart Fortwo. We lift the car with a jack to access the lower part of the rear engine compartment, remove the soundproofing panel from under the engine compartment (if available), unscrew the locking pins of the turbine (located in the engine compartment) with a socket wrench, remove the valve from the motor seat and disconnect the various power supply terminals with a screwdriver or needle nose pliers. After comparing the damaged valve with the new one, mount it on the engine block located in the compartment, tighten it well with the pins. After completing the assembly of the pieces, we just have to test the turbine.
