How to replace the diesel filter on a Smart Fortwo Diesel

Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015

Before we can begin, we will have to go and raise the rear of our Smart ForTwo Diesel. We then start by disconnecting the hoses connected to the diesel filter, releasing the fixing clips. After that, we will have to unscrew and remove the bolts that secure the support brackets of the diesel filter. Once this is done, we will have to remove the diesel filter itself. When we have completed this step, we will have finished the disassembly. To install the new diesel filter on our Smart ForTwo Diesel, we will only have to follow these instructions in reverse, and we will have finished the replacement.

How to Remove the Centre Console on a Renault Scenic

Watch this video to learn how to remove the glove compartment from the rear cover of the centre console on a Renault Scenic. Use a plastic lever to pry at the edge of the side plastics as shown in the video. Once the plastics are removed, unscrew the screws located at the sides of the centre console with a suitable screwdriver, and disconnect all the power connectors. Remove the side rests from the glove compartment. Fit the new piece onto the centre cover and proceed with the assembly of the remaining parts, working in reverse order.
