Replacing the Diesel Filter on the Smart Fortwo 800 CDI

In this guide, we will go through the steps to remove and replace the diesel filter on the Smart Fortwo 800 CDI. First, lift the vehicle and start by unscrewing the bracket screw of the diesel filter to remove it; then disconnect the fuel inlet and outlet pipes and unscrew the screw to loosen the bracket from the diesel filter, as shown in the video. At this point, replace the filter with a new one, using the original part; reattach the filter to the bracket and connect the two pipes, applying the reverse procedure!
