First, get in the vehicle to start removing the knob; simply pull it upwards with force to disengage it from the clips underneath, as illustrated in the video.

At this point, check the condition of the plastic supports; then reassemble the new knob, ensuring it fits perfectly without any play between the knob and the lever.
